O mejor aún: ¿Dónde se encuentra la realidad? No puede estar sino en nuestras pasiones que inventan la necesidad y mueven la vida. Sin embargo, como vislumbra uno de los personajes de estas ficciones: “La realidad y el sueño son dos mundos y no se tocan o casi no se tocan. Son dos mundos que se rozan en ciertos puntos. Quizás chocan accidentalmente pero no se unen”. La ficción está presente en nuestra realidad, en cada acto y en todo momento, pero sólo en la literatura esos dos mundos dejan de ser antagónicos; se reconcilian, pactan y la vida reinventan.
